  • nice
  • crisp fonts and loads of detail
  • Colors in photos seemed vivid and reasonably true
  • Performance on the black level test was strong
  • Performance on the white saturation was decent
  • both accuracy and colour consistency to be visually assessed
  • high-resolution textures and particle effects used very generously
  • good variety and overall balance
  • The monitor performed well in that respect
  • vivid look was maintained well throughout the screen
  • excellent array of pastel shades was displayed

Cons

  • their audio quality is mediocre
  • brightness is locked to a high level
  • slower than optimal pixel responsiveness
  • fonts and icons are a little too small for comfort
  • pixel pitch is pretty tight at 163 pixels per inch
  • would be lost on models with weaker colour consistency
  • No additional monitor drivers or ICC profiles were specifically loaded
  • heavy powdery trailing with a somewhat smeary appearance in places
