  • The build quality of the Sigma lens is excellent
  • It is very well built and handles beautifully
  • Macro is fine and the bokeh is pretty nice

  • heavy and somewhat slow to focus

  • The build quality of the Sigma lens is excellent
  • It is very well built and handles beautifully
  • Macro is fine and the bokeh is pretty nice
  • silent HSM you can film very nice macros

  • It is a very pleasant lens to use

Cons

  • heavy and somewhat slow to focus
  • it is slightly heavy and I found hand holding difficult
  • rubber type focusing ring tends to bleach out a little over the years
  • slow auto focus in macro shooting
  • Shorter lenses are too short for bugs
  • unfortunately has a tendency to easily collect dust and dirt
  • The lens does not extend during focusing nor does the front element rotate
  • glass bends different colors by different amounts
  • degrade image quality
  • Opcodes cannot be disabled but you can delete the codes with certain apps
  • shows just a tiny bit of corrected blue and red CAs
