Pros

  • design is efficient and easy to use
  • Amazingly versatile software controller
  • Good combination of inputs and outputs
  • the edges of the case are very sharp
  • Audio Kontrol 1 performs extremely well
  • bundled Traktor LE is a good example
  • offers superb audio quality and is ideal for live and DJ work
  • The drivers are very stable with a very very low latency
  • stability is solid all the appointments
  • compact
  • solid and seems very well finished

Cons

  • this can only be switched in the setup utility
  • playback momentarily drops out every couple of minutes or so
  • there´s only one microphone input
  • Each instrument is limited to eight controls
  • Audio Kontrol 1 might seem a bit pricey
  • this is not the best way to use the controllers
  • P4 originally intended only for the music
  • The USB plug-in is no longer hot
  • and it is still too expensive for the type of hardware connection
  • The computer has not planted on the other hand
  • do not have firewire on my motherboard
