Pros

  • rubberized zoom control ring operates pretty smooth and reasonably well damped
  • reasonably well built and gives good image quality
  • Generally honest timely and fair customer service from Canon
  • image quality is very good
  • great distortion control and produced lovely colours
  • The compact size and light weight are welcome attributes
  • Good build quality
  • fast focussing
