RX-A1080 is lacking in detail
The signal disappeared from time to time and such a problem was really annoying
YPAO retains its dated and confusing UI
Yamaha have any updates in the pipeline
lagging behind
the sound is changed far too much for our tastes
couldn t be missing is the inclusion of voice controls
no direct USB audio input
the hum is an electronic device on the electrical line
the signal would just be not as clean

The Yamaha RX-A1080 is the latest addition to the company's AVENTAGE line-up of AV Receivers. It's got Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and MusicCast but is the addition of Intelligent Sound enough of an upgrade?
