  • The highs are truly wonderful and engrossing
  • smoothly

  • Very smooth sounding amp with excellent bass and midrange response
  • power reserve can handle the most demanding recording and dynamics
  • Very good quality

Cons

  • Yamaha is too relaxed to give it
  • no need to open the lid and poke at the circuit board
  • sensed a touch lacking in sparkle and life
  • Bass was somewhat warm
  • the voices always seem to be in the right place relative to the instruments
  • screams
