XFX Radeon RX 590

Pros

  • Frame-to-frame consistency is still good
  • great 1080p and solid 1440p
  • in-depth reviews and helpful tips
  • aggressive frequency thanks to cool ambient air
  • incredibly good performance and is commendable of the card
  • RX 590 does pretty well overall
  • good performance and completely reasonable
  • free performance is free performance

Cons

  • both cards are still far more thirsty than the Nvidia card
  • no reference cards for us to test on release
  • very same somewhat cheap looking and feeling cooler
  • overclocking is hardly useful for this GPU
  • unexciting it s a re-refresh
  • None of these are particularly playable
  • performance boosts harder at 4K than 1080p
  • black/red combo here feels more tired than an obese kid climbing some stairs

  • it came out on top - and sometimes by quite a considerable margin to boot
  • is a little harder for me to gauge
