Pros

  • the TV Live Hub makes a great first impression
  • Pretty interface
  • easy to use
  • The internet features were mostly good
  • new ways of thinking
  • new connections
  • and new industries
  • playback quality was generally excellent
  • The specifications always looked good and the device on a whole looked sleek
  • simplicity behind it is what makes it so great
  • Setup is fairly self-explanatory

Cons

  • animated menus might seem a little trite
  • there is nothing much exciting or different from the reference design
  • the WD TV Live Hub
  • CPU
  • chipset and motherboard
  • there only being a limited amount of free stations and the range being quite poor
  • There are no video or audio cables
  • not all these features are available outside of the US
  • the GbE controller doesn't appear to deliver its full potential
  • the ‘Services' portal lacks video on demand
  • lack of genuine drive affects stereo music too
