  • sharpness in the centre is already excellent
  • Stopping down improves performance across the frame with outstanding sharpness
  • manual focus action is silky smooth and can be adjusted with a very light touch
  • sharpness is excellent across the frame
  • make it easy to shoot compelling lifestyle images
  • solid and well-built
  • some lenses are better than others wide open

Cons

  • it is not a tiny or small lens
  • always hard to describe the way different brands of lenses render images
  • the lens-focal plane should be shorter
  • as it has no real weaknesses besides being manual focus only
  • will not give the look or character of this lens
  • M43 system has been a real lack of anything wider than 24mm
