Several attempts to calibrate the set in either Dolby Vision HDR mode or for HDR10 turned out to be a misadventure, mainly because the tools to make that happen are new, and manufacturers are still working through compatibility issues. According to Vizio, M series displays should have the backlight parked at 50 (the default setting) for viewing Dolby Vision content.
To get a better TV, you’d have to spend much more money.
