  • The lens handles just fine in hands
  • solidly-built lens with a heft
  • -captured at ultra-wide angles of view are environmental style portraits

Cons

  • the lens will have to be disassembled to get rid of the sand in the ring
  • it feels a bit clumsy and feels like it will break overtime
  • the lens feels like there is nothing but glass and metal inside

    Pros

    • The lens handles just fine in hands
    • solidly-built lens with a heft
    • -captured at ultra-wide angles of view are environmental style portraits

    Cons

    • the lens will have to be disassembled to get rid of the sand in the ring
    • it feels a bit clumsy and feels like it will break overtime
    • the lens feels like there is nothing but glass and metal inside
    • the push-pull focus ring is definitely problematic in dusty situations
    • Neither lens has a long focal length range
    • standard threaded filters are not accepted
    • narrower apertures result in less corner shading
    • the stars in the image below are not round and are not straight lines
    • lacking are any conventional switches including one for manual focus mode
