Pros

  • fit and finish is superb
  • agile and nicely controlled
  • Tannoy proves a superb alternative for classical music
  • great stage coherence and better off-axis response
  • The presentation is spacious and airy
  • the sound is nice and balanced
  • Negative feedback is good feedback
  • Medium and high frequencies are delivered with a lot of subtlety and space
  • speakers splendidly level the sound stage and bring a rare rhythm and space to
  • The magnetic covers are easy to place
  • Really nice to have all accessories you test with

Cons

  • No part of the frequency demands extra attention
  • Tannoy are not British and have not been for about 18 years now
  • Too much agressive and too much filters
  • graphs have switched colors for some curves
  • side panels are not parallel in order to avoid unwanted internal vibrations
  • compact speakers are a little short as regards the lower end of the sound spectrum
  • natural wood coating hasn t been overlooked
  • British brand s quality standards
