Pros

  • high-quality speakers is a good experience
  • purer and more realistic feel to the imaging experience and raw quality
  • much more quantity
  • much better and more detailed tonality
  • The tone of the headphone is just sublime
  • pure in quality
  • the new model is nicely improved and tweaked over the previous models
  • The air factor is very good for an electrostatic
  • nice about a company that has stayed in the business and continues to innovate
  • comfortable and the included long cord made them easy to use
  • They were light and sounded great

Cons

  • Nothing is flimsy
  • or likely to fail over time
  • stock cable is too long on the SR-L700MK2
  • new-gen model is a damned monster
  • cable noise in my music
  • sadly made of a very cheap feeling plastic-like material
  • headphone doesn t clamp harshly either
  • watching bounce around like it was from some mad science experiment
  • electrostatic deigns are not always at their best
  • frequency curve has a relatively deep curvature from 2 to 4 kHz
  • his threadbare TV and stereo
