Pros

  • solid and well-built
  • feature set
  • excellent sensor and quality optics
  • the camera always felt very secure in my hand
  • It falls nicely under ones right thumb
  • macro focusing capability at all focal lengths is also excellent
  • Image Quality The image quality from the RX10 is quite good
  • very good
  • it looks excellent
  • RX10 produces images that are excellent
  • RX10 is a fairly easy camera to use

Cons

  • lack coherence and consistency
  • missing
  • the FZ1000 drops off to f4 too early in the zoom range
  • Fuji X30 does not have a click ring around the lense barrel
  • is not on the homepage so almost no one sees it
  • Expensive compared to other bridge cameras
  • Sony needed to change in their user interface
  • it takes an odd turn and the noisy areas take on a mottled look
  • thousand-dollar-plus bridge cameras long gone
  • its 4x zoom range a little limiting
  • uncompressed HDMI video output for feeding an external video recorder
