Black levels were also preserved admirably
The color calibration out of the box was also very good
Great overall picture quality

this TV is still pretty expensive
response times still seemed somewhat sluggish
it only comes with a standard remote
it is very heavy and thick
picture loses contrast and saturation
No cherry-picked units sent by brands
It takes a while to boot when first opening the TV
It may not display this or other websites correctly
suffers from off-axis viewing issues and slight backlight bleed
the picture appears a bit darker when viewed through the glasses
backlight seepage around the edges when the background was very dark
