  • toaster will save you time and withstand daily use over several years
  • the exterior should stay cool in use and be easy to clean
  • slide-out crumb tray for easy clean-up
  • intuitive simplicity with a touch of elegance
  • handled frozen bread well and toasted bagels nicely
  • clear and concise they are
  • smart
  • simple steal for under £40
  • plenty of great toasters for under £60
  • smartly designed and solidly made
  • seemed thoughtfully designed and conservatively proportioned

Cons

  • the inwards-facing sides came out much darker than the outer sides
  • coverage was patchy
  • It only offers five shade settings
  • left one side darker than the other and a slither at the top soft and pale
  • avoid inconsistent shading on each side
  • heavy and cumbersome
  • fell short on the defrost setting
  • toaster wobbled on the counter and felt flimsy to touch
  • toasters yielded inconsistent and disappointing results
  • the lever squeaks a bit when depressed
  • wobbled or squeaked
