Pros

  • easy
  • direct and honest way
  • spacious and very nicely laid-out control panel
  • Sledge actually makes wavetable synthesis fun
  • design and the sound
  • large panel makes programming simple and fun for all standards of users
  • it still holds good today
  • quicker and simpler to program than previous wavetable
  • large
  • friendly knobs
  • excellent synthesiser and the piano is very nice

Cons

  • not quite one-knob-per-function
  • This is not unique to the Sledge
  • unable to compare the Sledge directly to the PPG
  • Sledge requires no support software
  • glacially slow
  • Sledge is NOT capable of poly aftertouch
