  • well built
  • well priced and performs pretty well
  • compact dimensions
  • excellent build quality and extremely wide field
  • It is a unique lens and very well built
  • Very good construction-quality and
  • The incredible wide angle is fantastic for landscapes
  • The Sigma is better in almost every way

Cons

  • perform too badly
  • can't attach filters
  • sharpness drops noticeably as you move towards the edge of the frame
  • Falloff of illumination towards the corners of the frame is quite pronounced
  • this lens would be quite prone to flare
  • Depth-of-field measurements are not available
  • distortion effect is predominantly barrel
  • Corner softness is just slightly higher at this middle setting
  • No front filter to protect the FE
  • vignetting will be seen on the edges of the image
