    • the lens feels very solidly put together
    • Flare and ghosting is kept well enough under control
    • Price
    • weight and build are good
    • Sharpness and contrast are outstanding at all apertures straight
    • performence - extremly sharp and very good
    • exceptional optical performance and good build quality at
    • build quality of Sigma 70mm is excellent
    • The manual focus ring operated very smoothly
    • VR version is very good as well
    • Works with adapters Can be adapted to other cameras other than canon

    Cons

    • the lens does tend to hunt a little during AF
    • cause a slight loss of contrast and light flaring
    • The manual focus action feels a bit loose as a result

    • very slow and noisy
    • Sigma was inconsistent with their product control
    • The aperture does not have round blades
