  • large zoom ring works quite smoothly for most of its range
  • plastics used are high in quality and the lens feel very well put together
  • nicely in the range as a cheaper alternative

Cons

  • the inner lens tube wobbles noticeably
  • it does not offer an aperture ring
  • The lens tends to hunt in lower light conditions
