UE49MU8000 is a reasonably strong TV for its money
Colours come across as natural and refined
Motion handling is great for sports or gaming
Smart OS works well for casual viewing
performance is quite good and should be more than enough for normal home use
better reflection handling and better viewing angles
better contrast and better black uniformity
MU8000 also has a faster response time
Black uniformity is decent on the MU8000
The included apps run smoothly and work properly

Is HDR and HDR10 the same?

HDR10 is referred to as "generic" HDR, which is a slightly derogatory term, but HDR10 really refers to the baseline specifications for HDR content. HDR10 is a 10-bit video stream, over 1 billion colours, and if you have HDR-compatible devices, it will support HDR10.
