  • Colours are also superb and strong
  • fast and incredibly powerful with almost every major video on demand application available
  • wider viewing angles and excellent panel filter
  • Samsung does look incredibly accurate and detailed
  • the minimal layout and useful controls that are easy to find
  • logical manner and it is intuitive to use
  • Samsung screen serves vivid images with very good contrast and brightness
  • Great design
  • excellent remote control and sharp picture quality
  • Very simple and flexible
  • Q80R can handle reflections slightly better and has a wider viewing angle thanks

Cons

  • there is no support for Dolby Vision dynamic metadata
  • There are no connections or power socket as they are on the One Connect box
  • the inputs are hard to reach when the TV is wall-mounted
  • it wobbles a bit on its stand
  • Some fine banding is noticeable in all dark shades
  • does have one cool new HDR feature
  • have as many speakers around the edges
  • sound is not as powerful or precise
  • HDR content can actually look dull in a bright room
  • to limit the brightness of stand-out bright objects pretty heavily
  • mirror-bright TV screens
