  • its remarkable level of detail and colour dynamism
  • quiet
  • and discs loaded with impressive speed
  • fantastic combination of performance and value and comes highly recommended
  • The interface is simple and navigates quickly in most cases
  • Flawless upscaling and excellent fine detail treatment
  • excellent image quality coupled with a great price
  • deinterlacing is good and in most cases shows a pure image without serrated edges
  • more intuitive to use on a daily basis
  • good video performance and a user-friendly interface

Cons

  • quite come across
  • no THX certification for the UB400
  • Ultra HD 4K was just too big a resolution for Blu-ray
  • too much detail was lost with the other two settings
  • It may not display this or other websites correctly
  • there are no DV 4K Blu-ray available
  • HDR in a non-dark room
  • Selector Viewing Distance Calculator Input Lag Database
  • the display is not always nice
  • Panasonic pulls the cart to introduce this format
  • current generation of players does not support HDR10 +
