Pros

  • noise quality for both is a steady whooshing
  • the image holds detail well
  • colors and gradations are well within an acceptable range
  • GT5500 looks absolutely phenomenal
  • the video is still crisp and detailed
  • quickest and easiest way to get yourself up an running
  • This is very handy for presentations

Cons

  • GT5500 offers only one predefined 3D mode
  • slight yellow-green tint in the brightest shades
  • screen limitation is
  • Rainbow artifacts are not much of a problem on the GT5500
  • obvious green bias and a tendency for some colors to be dark and dull
  • no live images of the projector and very few of the projection
  • There is no fancy software configuration to do
  • lack of 4K
  • the projector is placed a little over 2 feet from the screen
  • projectors are off limits
  • it s not specifications we re after
