truely is a fantastic bit of kit and easily one of the best lenses going
edge-to-edge performance
superb colors
and excellent contrast across its zoom range

the zoom action is a little uneven and rough
Zoom ring turns 90 degrees counterclockwise
heavy ultra-wide angle zoom lens around

Longer focal lengths display much less vignetting
neither does the lens. also the waiting time is horrific
this vantage point can only be accessed at low tide
it does not offer an aperture ring anymore
the naked front element is quite vulnerable
the lens can still live up to the hype on a high resolution FX sensor
no ultra-wide lens can ever be totally flare-proof
the ring continues rotation with a little more resistance
such a filter system is rather large and expensive
