  • more solidity and a nicer finish for the money
  • good scale and plenty of sonic authority

Cons

  • C 390DD has no analogue stages in the signal path
  • There are no analogue gain stages anywhere inside this unit
  • Diminished transient incision and a lack of overall visual acuity
  • piano given more breathing room
  • hard-panned guitar was arresting
  • It may not display this or other websites correctly
  • The display text is a little small and hard to read from across the room
  • No more running back and forth to compare settings at the listening chair
  • Bass is a bit lacking
