Pros

  • the 1248 still looks excellent value for money
  • Fast and reliable shop
  • the install process is quite straightforward
  • the features
  • sound quality and super low latency
  • The built in reverb and compressors are quite good

Cons

  • occasional CPU spikes at buffer sizes
  • my Windows machine is now four and a half years old
  • It often takes several seconds to serve each page
  • Metering does not clearly indicate overs
  • the present looks like a bit of a mess
  • Synchronization delay - Initial playback and sample rate changes
  • No noise on sample rate changes - Sample rate changes are completely
  • automatic sample rate changing is no longer working
  • Twisted Pair does not currently provide
  • only has preamp inputs
  • It may not display this or other websites correctly
