the setup was fairly easy assuming everything goes well

competitors sound more laid back and easier to listen to long term
S1 speaker itself is pretty straightforward

WPS connection was not connecting to the speaker and it took a few times
sound can only be controlled through the SoundStage app or an app
digital or analog inputs you cannot push that sound out to all the speakers
a connectivity issue when streaming on WiFi
Mine will not turn on sitting in boot loop forever
also sound a little too cymbal-heavy
include power specifications
Monster lost its lucrative Beats contract
recessed midrange and hyped bass/treble sound makes

the Soundstage app was unable to find the S1 speaker
Only the currently selected input type will be lit
