  • The software is easy to use

  • line and mic ins are excellent
  • Installation and setup was easy
  • Nice cross-platform package of software
  • the Omega is versatile
  • nice and quick and easy
  • The supplied software is obviously good
  • it worked great with each one of them

Cons

  • too tall and gets in the way
  • there is no way to access these inserts
  • only currently possible to record two tracks at once on the Mac
  • None of this should overtax the USB connection
  • Hard drive with 18ms or faster average seek time
  • There are no drivers for Mac OS 9
  • lack of a FireWire output
  • the line input is inactive
  • No driver installation required
  • the mic is really cheap
