  • stitching is beautiful
  • high-quality
  • dependable machine
  • there are several very good basic sewing machines on the market

Cons

  • optional pressed feet are expensive and are not interchangeable with Singer compatible
  • It does not store any personal data
  • The tension was terrible and the stitches looked sloppy
  • Opal is not a quality machine
  • error messages were popping up and the machine was noisy
  • does not offer an embroidery machine for home use at this time
