Pros

  • PCIe retention system is pretty simple
  • S01 is so much easier to work with
  • HP provides a more complete living-room experience
  • faster multitasking and multithreaded application performance
  • both systems offer a reasonable amount of hardware for their price
  • HP and the Gateway are far more consistent
  • The system works smoothly at all times
  • The smooth keys have a clear stroke and are quiet
  • cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye

Cons

  • You will be limited to single slot width PCIe cards
  • the variety is a bit lacking
  • underpowered integrated graphics solutions
  • no Wi-Fi 6 or 2x2 MIMO support
  • HP Slim Desktop are any USB Type-C ports
  • lack of USB-C ports and the relatively poky processor
  • they are only ABS plastic
  • There s no wires attaching the front panel to the chassis
  • the executables were somehow removed just by migrating the drive
