  • Notes are easily within reach and the fretboard is silky smooth
  • It s also very very light
  • emphasises all of the things that are great about this instrument
  • great bass for guitarists to pick up and start creating
  • Hofner pairs well with the really melodic
  • It s incredibly easy to play
  • Hofner Ignition is an incredibly good deal
  • warm
  • woody tones really get a nice boost
  • It also has a nice vintage decoration
  • it s quite easy to play

  • tight 15mm string spacing can feel a little cramped at first
  • a clunky
  • clumsy bass is a HUGE roadblock
  • with a huge bottom end and a really searing mid-range
  • it s a bit top-heavy
  • The playability also becomes even further off the charts
  • strings too hard to press the strings
  • pickups are on the entry-level side
