G&L Tribute S-500

Pros

  • easy
  • direct and honest way
  • the Sonic Blue is awesome
  • The initial setup was actually really good
  • Fit and finish - Looks great
  • The frets are perfectly fit and comfort is total
  • L ergonomics is excellent
  • guitar very light and very pleasant
  • good intonation bends notes and accurate
  • So smooth and the shape is perfect
  • the handle and Saddle in the key are REALLY beautiful

Cons

  • saturation in finer grain and a little more harmonic
  • arpeggios
  • funky pots
  • Neck - Not usually a fan of heavily glossed necks
  • MF only had Sonic Blue and not their Irish Ale color
  • It may not display this or other websites correctly
  • Brazilian Cherry for the fretboard
  • ice-picky and grating
  • little too low (touch of fret buzz
  • The body is not the same size as the fender
  • biggest corp / big / and whose contours are less rounded
