Fenix BC30R - Pros & Cons

The light beam is strong and can be seen for hundreds of feet giving everyone ample time
the feature can be quite handy
The system is simple and easy to use
good optics
great runtime
and an innovative and intuitive interface
Reasonable set of modes
convenient UI
simple and convenient release system
Plenty of light and a huge battery savings
A simple yet sturdy design in a nice compact package
rechargeable light is on my solo morning and evening commutes
A solid presentation with lots of instructions
low power warning and intelligent output downshift
Fenix's specifications are equal to or better than anything else on the market

the actual runtime did not closely match the predicted runtime
it does not have a boost mode or remote switch
light seemed overpriced and underpowered at the time
The battery is not user-accessible
The flash is very slow
features supports only ECO mode

Tint is little bit more close to NW than the one of BC30
is no sight of build defects or anything that looks or feels cheap or inappropriate

no direct additional cost buying those toxic little battery bombs

The color of the light might have been a bit too cool
