Pros

  • It is easy to control and monitor the brew pressure and temperature
  • It fits nicely under my cabinets
  • The water reservoir itself is very nice and easy to fill

Cons

  • it s usually rather difficult to get at
  • heating cycles get shorter
  • They re also incompatible with direct plumbing
  • overpressure valve is on the bottom or buried deep inside
  • vibratory pumps are noticeably louder
  • temperature start to rise on the PID display
  • Remove the plate to gain access to the heating element
  • it does not allow the machine to run
  • full hog and get the dual pump machine
  • Does not include commercial espresso machines or brewers
  • Classika is a bit narrower than some similarly designed brands
