Slightly different to most Power Shot offerings as this is waterproof, it still however has all the normal facilities and enhancements of a standard digital camera but in this case getting it wet will not be a disaster at least in the short term.
The PowerShot D20 is Canon’s latest waterproof, shockproof, and generally accident-proof camera.
Canon introduces its latest underwater compact, the PowerShot D20
Canon's latest tough-cam is a solid outdoor shooter, but doesn't offer enough to stand out.

The Canon PowerShot D20 is an all-action compact camera that's water, dust, freeze and shock proof. The new Canon D20 is a distinctively designed 12 megapixel camera with a 5x zoom, 1080p HD video, built-in GPS and a 3-inch screen. Read our detailed Canon PowerShot D20 review now...
Last month we tested the best rugged, waterproof cameras and picked a winner. "But what about the new Canon?" everyone screamed. Fear not. The PowerShot D20 went through some cruel testing over the past couple of weeks. Could it live up? Could it live, period?
While other camera manufacturers have been making rugged cameras for many years, Canon didn't enter the market until early 2009 (preferring to create optional waterproof housings for many of its 'regular' compacts instead). Canon's first truly waterproof digital compact camera, the PowerShot D10, had a rather unique (and chunky) design, but its solid performance photo quality earned it a 'Highly Recommended' badge in our 2009 Waterproof group test.

A month ago we gave you a taste of what the Canon PowerShot D20 is capable of. Now let's get to know more the rugged point-and-shoot in our full review
We liked the D10 very much and we like the D20 even more, although we wish Canon had kept the World War III ''army surplus'' look of the old camera.
Canon Powershot D20 Review
The Canon D20 is a better-than-average looking tough cam that sports a surprising sharp lens and impressive underwater stills capability. But get ready to sacrifice action shots, because a speed demon this is not.
