Say hello to the BenQ W2700, the best and the most enjoyable 4K HDR projector you can currently buy for less under £2,000
We have seen projectors that support native 4K resolution makes an inroad into our living room, specifically the BenQ W2700.
A budget 4K projector for all occasions
Let’s check out BenQ’s latest 4K projector. I’ve had high praises for BenQ’s W1700 when I tested it early last year and it turned out to be one of my most favorite and highly recommended projectors made for home entertainment. That greatness continues with the W2700, an improved version of an already-great product. The W2700 …
Whether you’re a movie buff or just an average joe, we have to admit that the experience we get when watching a movie or film in general is heavily dependent on the screen in which the movie is being projected unto, be it a television or a projector. That being said, with the price of […]
The latest 4K DLP projector to use the new upgraded 0.47" TI DMD, the W2700 promises wide colour gamut coverage, 100% Rec.709 and HDR playback, but can it actually manage that? Let's find out...
BenQ's game-changing W5700 projector left us impressed by its abilities when we reviewed it earlier this year. Now it's time to put its little brother, the $2,499 W2700 True 4K DLP Projector through its paces.
Superb image quality and a reasonable price makes the BenQ W2700 one of the best projectors around
Colour us excited! The W2700 is the first single-chip DLP 4K home projector to aim to hit the wide colour space of the DCI-P3 standard used in digital cinema, and favoured by 4K UHD Blu-ray. According to BenQ it falls a little short (reaching 95 per cent coverage), but it's an intriguing development. Wide Colour Gamut (WCG) support has long been common on higher-end UHD TVs, but until now affordable DLP projectors have only been able to cover regular REC.709.
