Pros

  • sense and it has been very well executed
  • customisation is both accessible and pretty sophisticated
  • good work and incremental improvement of its products
  • enjoyable and productive way to interact with Revit
  • It works really well with Inventor too

Cons

  • middle mouse is usually found under the scroll wheel
  • but lack the software support of the 3DConnexion devices
  • iPad/iPhone apps for model interaction
  • limited USB slots available as you can run both into a single port
  • time to get used to the controls
  • the SPP difficult to setup and start using
  • “The orientation and height of the current view is not maintained
  • close and re-open the 3D view
  • can no longer use the serial model as windows 7 does not support it
