Getting down and dirty with the first MeeGo phone
The Nokia N9 was announced as being the first "pure-touch" smartphone without the need or presence of hardware/capacitive buttons on the front of the device in order to operate it. It is powered by MeeGo, a platform Stephen Elop said "inspires both…
When the first touch-only OS debuts on one of the hottest pieces of hardware this year, you can bet we want a piece of the action. Windows Phone is where...
Review of Nokia's Meego running smartphone, the N9
Nokia N9 review: The N9 is without a doubt Nokia's slickest smartphone ever
It's somehow fitting, running our review of the much-anticipated Nokia N9 smartphone on the eve of Nokia World 2011. The company is expected to reveal…
The fulfilment of Nokia's promise of a thoroughly modern MeeGo smartphone is upon us
This is awkward. We review the Nokia N9, the phone that was to be everything Windows Phone isn't. How does it stack up? We think the Meego is awesome, but is it better than WP7? Actually... yes.
Nokia N9 (2011) (Mobile Phone): 3.2 out of 5 stars from 13 genuine reviews on Australia's largest opinion site ProductReview.com.au.
If you don't know the difference between an iPhone and an Android, and you'd love a smartphone for web browsing and email, then the N9 could be for you.
The Nokia N9 is certainly an interesting device. Not only was it was Nokia’s first and only foray with the Meego operating system (OS), but also ended up being the physical template upon which the Nokia Lumia 800 – Nokia’s first Windows Phone handset – was based. The result is a definitely unique user experience that combines a new OS with a singular approach to manufacturing style.
