The Schecter Demon and the Schecter Omen are both great guitars for metal and hard rock. They both have a fast, aggressive sound that is perfect for shredding solos and power chords. The Demon has a Floyd Rose tremolo system for added sustain and stability, and the Omen has a fixed bridge for more tuning stability.

I think the only difference between the two are the pickups - the Omens have stock passive Schecter pickups which are not terrible but unimpressive as far as I know, while Demons have Duncan Designed active pickups which are basically a bit cheaper version of AHB-1 Blackouts, and they're surprisingly decent.Jan 23, 2015
