The Pioneer KURO PDP-508XDA is easily the best plasma television we have reviewed thus far. Even though it is a little more expensive than other 50in plasmas on the market, it is money well spent.
Pioneer presents their new generation of plasma TVs in 42, 50 and 60 inches. The line-up is called Kuro which means black in Japanese
Pioneer continues to show that its Kuro plasma screens are the new black.
Pioneer’s extraordinary new Kuro range of plasmas is nothing short of a revolution in TV picture quality and this 42in model is one of its finest sons
Flying the flag proudly for plasma
With its 'Kuro', blacker-than-black styling, the Pioneer PDP-428XD does live up to its hype. It might sound like a ridiculous thing to say about a TV but we really fell in love with the styling. It would make a great centrepiece to any home cinema and certainly impresses with its deep blacks
