Garmin has voice recognition and a superior points of interest database
TomTom provides better traffic data and comes with worldwide maps
keep on it and happy motoring
Everything is clear and concise
maps smoother and the ability to tap on a variety of icons much easier

smartphone is only needed for certain features like the traffic updates
