semi-open headphones are more comfortable and offer great audio quality
excellent bass range performance
Philips are more comfortable
more breathable open-back headphones
The HD 681 are also much more comfortable

AKG have a smoother treble and feel better built
have a more balanced sound and a better passive soundstage

cheap plastic impact the sound though

The headband is rather unconventional
feel cheap at all despite everything being plastic
these cans do not need a dedicated amp
they sounded a little bit too closed in and congested
Sub bass is a bit lacking in my opinion
HD661 does not sound like a closed headphone at all
they re also not a newcomer
The color scheme is pretty bland
bulky and cumbersome headphones
Low-mid and mid are virtually flat
