The 40-inch, 1080p Aquos LC-40CT2E is an impressive budget LCD TV. Its standard-definition pictures could be better but it's a very good high-definition performer, and its built-in Freeview HD tuner is a welcome bonus at this price. It doesn't look as cheap as it is either
