Arta Tech has been developing e-readers for a number of years and have scored a major victory with the InkBook Prime. The overall build quality premium device is really solid and it won a Red Dot award for industrial design. Hardware The InkBook Prime features a six inch e-Ink Carta touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 x 758 and 212 PPI. Tolino has issued three different generations of the Shine e-reader, which is their mid level device. This is the first model in the lineup that was designed by Kobo and the Shine 3 is basically the Kobo Clara HD shell and internals. It does have Tolino software and the Tolino bookstore, which is appealing to the German audience.
