  • fenix 2 feels like it can withstand some rigorous use

Cons

  • things are a bit of a mess in Garmin Connect
  • it lacks any of the Bluetooth capabilities

  • the edge of the screen will turn into a little needle
  • the unit gets rather messy data to work with
  • rural trail running rather than urban pavement pounding
  • having Bluetooth running constantly in the background shrivels the battery
  • clunky and anachronistic UI and uninspiring screen
  • the display is a deeply uninspiring monochrome LED
  • Fenix 2 can only talk to one Bluetooth source at a time
