The GHI's Tried & Tested review of the Fujifilm XT30
The X-T30 II is the latest mid-range mirrorless camera from Fujifilm, boasting a 26 megapixel APS-C sensor, 4K/30p video recording, 30fps burst shooting and a stylish retro look and feel. Is the replacement for the two-year-old X-T30 worth considering? Find out now by reading our XT30 II review complete with full size sample photos...
Read our Fujifilm X-T30 II review to find out if the latest 26.1MP X-series camera is worth your hard earned cash.
Fujifilm has done it again. Following the release of a professional grade camera with a new sensor and processor, they’ve followed up with a consumer grade camera with 90% of the features at approximately 65% of the price of the pro model. The biggest difference? WR and a second card slot. Okay, I’m oversimplifying it, but the brand new Fujifilm X-T30 is an amazing camera when put next to the X-T3 when comparing pricing versus features. At the time of launch, the X-T30 will actually have the latest firmware algorithms that will beat the professional X-T3 in terms of AF speed and face/eye detect accuracy. If you are not interested in the premium video features of the X-T3, the new X-T30 might be the best option for stills photographers within the Fujifilm ecosystem. Let's look at the key features of the X-T30: 26.1MP APS-C X-Trans BSI CMOS 4 Sensor100% Phase Detection (2.16M-dot) with 425 AF pointsBack-side illuminated sensor design with base ISO 160 and reduced rolling shutterX-Processor 4 with Quad CPU (3 times faster than previous processor)Blackout Free 30fps in ES (electronic shutter) with 1.25x crop (20fps in ES without crop, 8fps with mechanical shutter)16 film simulations, including Eterna for

The brand new Fujifilm X-T30 is a more affordable and shrunken down version of the highly regarded X-T3, albeit with a few caveats
The Fujifilm X-T30 is a mid-range mirrorless, aimed at enthusiasts who want the quality and flexibility of the X-system, but in a smaller, lighter and more affordable package than the flagship X-T3. Indeed it becomes the second body to feature the 26 Megapixel X-Trans IV sensor. Check out my in-depth review!…

Editor's notes: the Fujifilm X-T30 will release on March 20, 2019. For this article, Fuji loaned us a preproduction body with preproduction firmware. The Fujifilm X-T30 packs in much of the technology of the X-T3 and makes some great upgrades on the X-T20, Fuji's biggest-selling X-series camera
The Fujifilm X-T30 is a $900 camera that's an incredibly capable stills/video hybrid. Image and 4K video quality are top-notch and, aside from some ergonomic and autofocus stumbles, the X-T30 does just about everything right. Learn more in our in-depth review.
We review the X-T30! Fujifilm has stepped up significantly this year with the X-T3. Their 2019 semi-pro APS-C mirrorless camera is the first from the X-series line to receive an all-new sensor and 4th-generation X-Trans image processor. The two key internal upgrades enabled the X-T3 to have a blazing-fast autofocus system that can keep up …
