Exactly a year ago, to the day, Nokia released the N8 to the world's press (and to a few lucky people able to get to the few flagship stores), just making their own Q3, 2010 deadline. As of two hours later, my main SIM went in the N8 and, a few review and retro dalliances aside, has been in it ever since. For anyone who's followed me over the years, that's nothing short of incredible. The same phone for 12 months. And there's still nothing to replace it. Here's the N8 story and here's why it's lasted.

It feels like we've been talking about the Nokia N8 for a long time. February 2010 saw the first murmurings, followed by a string of…
Nokia's newest phone comes with insane entertainment chops and a Symbian OS that resembles Android. Too bad it comes up short in far too many areas.
Review: Nokia's N8 has a fantastic camera and crisp screen, but its slow processor and Symbian operating system hold the device back from mainstream success.
Facebook Twitter LinkedIn More I owned several Nokia phones back in early 2000 such as the Nokia 3330, 8250, and the Nokia 6300 (last one I used). With competitions getting fierce nowadays with Android phones, iPhones, and the recently released Windows Phone 7, Nokia stays committed to the Symbian platform and actually just made a […]
