  • These lenses are delightful in their imperfection
  • The images have a great cinematic look and feel
  • The focus ring is well placed and wide enough
  • on-camera balance is perfect
  • the photography easier
  • quicker and more dependable across more situations
  • Loxia's colour rendering and contrast are both great
  • The build and feel is much nicer than the M mount version
  • accurate and sharp
  • BuildZeiss has always proudly made lenses with superb build
  • it balances very nicely in hands

  • the camera cannot control a manual aperture

  • not a shutter speed priority lens
  • Zone focusing is not just for street photographers
