Pros

  • neck construction makes it more durable and stable
  • It is carved on top and features completely solid construction
  • Tone
  • Comfort
  • and Versatility
  • Versatility 7/10 and slap both felt great on this bass
  • electronics means more versatility and better functioning knobs
  • the neck balance was good
  • The fit and finish is really nice
  • two hardware components work together perfectly and provide you with pleasant playing experience
  • well-balanced and comfortable

Cons

  • bolt-on neck construction
  • quite cheap
  • The bass is heavier than my others and has some neck drop
  • won't have to break the bank to get hold of a Yamaha
  • too large and unwieldy to play certain types of music
  • Mid range tones are not as emphasised throughout the presets
  • there is no version of the TRBX174 for you
  • tonal performance might be a little muted or lacking in certain departments
  • There is no binding around the top
  • flimsy chrome plastic knobs
  • the neck was narrower at the lower frets
